The publication winning the Wolfgang Metzger Award 2005 is the doctoral dissertation of Dr. Sundqvist. It has been published as No. 16 of the series Acta Philosophica Gothoburgensia, Göteborg University (ISBN 91-7346-486-4). The award ceremony and the award winner's lecture took place at the 14th Scientific Convention of the GTA (February 24-27, 2005, Medical University Graz / Austria).
A series of articles - "The Crossroads Between Empiricism and Rationalism" - based on the award winning publication has been published in 2007 in the international multidisciplinary journal Gestalt Theory:

This award - presented by the international multidisciplinary Society
for Gestalt Theory and its Applications (GTA)- is named in honor of
our late honorary chairman Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Wolfgang
Metzger who was one of the most eminent exponents of the second generation
of the Berlin school of Gestalt theory.
To qualify for this award applicants had to submit a scientific paper (in German
or English language) which contributes to research or application on basis of
Gestalt theory in the natural sciences, the humanities, the social sciences,
or the economic sciences; e.g. the paper could deal with a subject from psychology,
medicine, architecture, or any other field of research or application based
on Gestalt theory.
Applicants were invited to submit either master theses or theses or papers written
specifically for this award.

METZGERs "Psychologie. Die Entwicklung ihrer Grundannahmen seit
der Einführung des Experiments" (first edition published
in 1941) has been published in its 6th edition recently by the
Wolfgang Krammer Verlag, Vienna, 2001. Order this new edition
